Alder Hey Children’s Charity raises vital funds to help make Alder Hey Children's Hospital a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital for the 330,000 patients and families we care for every year. We put our children at the heart of what we do, they inspire us every day and drive us to deliver the best care and innovation that changes lives. We look after the family as a whole, and we’re with those families at every step. But we don’t just have an impact at a local level, we are looking at research and innovation which can help today’s child become tomorrow’s healthier adult. The Charity raises funds to support 4 key areas of activity; game-changing innovation and vital research, the ‘Alder Hey in the Park’ campus, life-saving medical equipment and Alder Hey ‘magic’. This ensures that every donation we receive has maximum impact for our young patients, now and in the future.
