Save time at the counter, and travel safe with QuickPass
With QuickPass, you can share with us many of the details we need for your rental at a time that suits you. That way we can start preparing your rental agreement before you arrive.
- You can register for QuickPass from the moment you’ve booked your car. You just need your driving licence and a payment card to hand.
- After booking, click the 'register for QuickPass' link on the confirmation page. Or use the link in the confirmation email.
- And tailor your rental with any extras you require.
- And that's it, you've registered your QuickPass.
- If you don’t have that info, you can register for QuickPass right up until you pick up your rental vehicle.
- Provide your driving licence and payment details
- Don’t worry, we’ll send you a few reminders by email should you forget.
When you arrive at the Avis rental station simply follow the QuickPass signs and head to the indicated counter or QuickPass location point.
We’ll ask you to confirm your identity so please make sure you have your driving licence and payment card, plus one other form of ID (either a national ID card or passport). Then we’ll ask for a signature and hand over the keys.
UK renters need to bring a proof of address as well as your DVLA licence code if your licence was issued in England, Wales or Scotland.
And that’s it, you’re ready to start your journey.
If you’re an Avis Preferred member with an upcoming booking, you don’t need to use QuickPass as you already get the benefits of speed of service and much more.
Don’t forget, as an Avis Preferred member you can enjoy priority service when collecting your vehicle and if you’ve downloaded the Avis app, you can use it to bypass the counter altogether in certain locations.
