  1. All Flying Blue members are eligible for one free additional driver on every qualifying rental worldwide
  2. Simply make your reservation as normal and then request an additional driver to be added when you collect your car. If additional driver is added at time of reservation you will see the additional cost. The cost for an additional driver will be removed when you collect your car.
  3. The additional driver must meet standard Avis age and driver requirements for that rental location. The additional driver must present a full valid driving licence (both parts if new style UK paper/picture card version; International Driving Permit if the driver's licence is in written in non Roman alphabet eg Greek / Arabic etc).
  4. Only one additional driver may be claimed free of charge per rental. Further additional drivers will be charged at time of rental at the appropriate rate published for that location.
  5. This benefit is available for all Flying Blue Members only, on qualifying rentals .

  1. Flying Blue members will earn 4 Miles per Euro (€) spent on each eligible rental. 
  2. Flying Blue members will earn 5 Miles per Euro (€) spent on each eligible rental on an electric vehicle (EV). 
  3. If the rental is not paid in Euro (€), then the currency will be changed to Euro at the Avis Exchange Rate applicable on the date of rental commencement (the date the car is collected). The final rental value used to calculate the Flying Blue Miles award will exclude any charges for damage (actual damage charges or insurance excesses charged due to damage) and will exclude all taxes.

To qualify for any Miles promotions, reservations must be made using a Flying Blue/Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number: Explorer members F982700; Silver members F982800; Gold members F982900; Platinum/Ultimate members F983000. Reservations made on avis-flyingblue.com will have an AWD automatically embedded in the reservation.
  5. If any other AWD number is present in the rental booking no bonus Miles will be awarded.
  6. If any other AWD number is present in a customer’s Avis Preferred profile and this is used in the rental booking no bonus Miles will be awarded and once booked this cannot be reversed. 
  7. To qualify, rentals must include the Flying Blue membership number of the first named driver (the "renter"). This Flying Blue card number must be given at time of reservation and the card shown at time of rental.
  8. Miles will be earned only on separate rentals and not rentals with consecutive rental dates.
  9. The maximum number of Flying Blue Miles which can be awarded per eligible rental at rental is Nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine (9,999).
  10.  Long term rentals, mini lease rentals or rentals over 27 days in length do not qualify for Miles awards.
  11. Rentals made using Avis contracted (corporate/government) rates/AWDs, chauffeur drive, or van rentals do not qualify for Flying Blue Miles. Travel industry staff rates including Flying Blue/AF/KLM and Avis employee programs, replacement/insurance rates, selected association programs, and net rate programs do not qualify. 
  12. This promotion is not valid on Prestige, van or chauffeur drive rentals worldwide. 
  13. Renter must meet standard Avis age, driver and credit requirements. 
  14. Miles can be collected on Avis car rental without taking a flight.
  15. The awarding of Flying Blue Miles may take up to 8 weeks from date of the rental closing.
  16. All Flying Blue Miles issued are subject to Flying Blue terms and conditions.
