  1. Emirates Skywards members can earn Skywards Miles on eligible rentals at all Avis retail locations worldwide, exclude all locations in Alaska, the USA.
  2. Emirates Skywards members will be eligible to earn Skywards Miles for every USD 1 or foreign equivalent spent based on their membership tier at the time of vehicle pick-up.
  3. Emirates Skywards members will earn 6 Skywards Miles per USD spent on each rental when making your reservation via this website by selecting “Skywards” membership on “Customer Type” field.
  4. If you book via any of Avis websites directly or call centres, you will earn up to 2 Skywards Miles only regardless of your membership Tier and may not receive your partnership benefits in addition.
  5. To take part of any promotions or any of your Emirates Skywards benefits, please make sure all reservations are made on this site.
  6. The Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number O177203 will be included in your reservation automatically when reservations are made on this site by selecting “Skywards” membership on “Customer Type” field.
  7. Self-drive rentals with Avis Prestige, Avis Select Series, Avis Signature Series and van rentals do not qualify for Miles earning. Miles cannot be earned on contracted rates, chauffeur-drive, travel industry staff rates, replacement/insurance rates, selected association programmes, monthly rentals, Avis Preferred Free Weekend rentals, award rentals and nett rate programmes.
  8. Miles will be awarded on rentals made for a maximum length of 28 consecutive days. Any additional days will not be eligible to earn Miles.
  9. Miles will be awarded on the base rental rate (time and mileage only) and not on taxes, fuel or additional fees.
  10. Miles can only be earned on one frequent flyer programme for each qualifying self-drive rental at participating locations worldwide.
  11. Renters can only claim Miles for their own rentals, i.e. only one rental at a time.
  12. Emirates Skywards members must enter their membership number and membership Tier at the time of booking and present proof of their Emirates Skywards membership at the Avis counter when picking up the car to be eligible to earn Skywards Miles.
  13. In the event of a change in Emirates Skywards member’s Tier status from the booking to rental pick-up, Avis will honour the tier status at the time of rental pick-up. Proof of the new tier status must be presented in order for the reservation to be updated.
  14. Emirates Skywards members will be eligible to earn Miles only if the full name in the rental agreement matches the full name in the membership account.
  15. If any other AWD number is present in the rental booking no Miles will be awarded.
  16. If any other AWD number is present in a customer’s Avis Preferred profile and this is used in the rental booking no Miles will be awarded and once booked this cannot be reversed.
  17. Promotional Miles or any additional Miles cannot be retro claimed.
  18. Consecutive or conjunctive rentals will not qualify for extra Miles – only the first qualifying rental in such situations will be awarded Miles.
  19. Miles will only be credited into your account within 6 to 8 weeks after the completion of eligible car rental.
  20. Missing mileage claims must be made within 180 days of the conclusion of each qualifying rental. To claim missing Miles, original Car Rental Agreement copy is required. Members are required to retain copies of these until Miles are credited to members’ accounts.
  21. Offers may not be used in conjunction with any other discount, promotion or offer other than those valid on this website and are subject to availability.
  22. From 8 April 2015, Avis will be able to detect if the name on your credit card doesn’t match the name on the rental agreement. It is Avis’ policy that the name on the driver’s licence should match the name on the credit or debit card presented at the time of check-out.
